Inspiring Victorian Artwork

Nothing in particular to say here except that I have always enjoyed Victorian artwork. Good artwork should make you stop and reflect, and this piece does so masterfully.  The sculpture below is usually called the Angel of Grief, or sometimes the “Weeping Angel”.  The design originated in the late-19th Century and has been widely copied, many times as a monument placed on children’s graves.
