High school teacher tells graduating students: you’re not special


The teacher mentioned in this article is the son of noted historian and author David McCollough.  He has delivered the most valuable piece of information that these graduates will ever need to know, but for some it was like having a bucket of cold water dumped over their heads.  Just as heroes are not made by simply showing up for work, people are only special when measured against their deeds.
