This narrative was resurrected by The Nation, and dates back to the end of World War Two. It will not be a surprise to anyone who is a student of history. There are many younger people living in Europe today who have never seen a Jew. That the Jews as a people suffered greatly in Europe from 1933 to 1945 is beyond dispute. Historians and revisionists may argue over the numbers and the details, but what many people fail to grasp is that the program to dispose of the Jews of Europe was largely “mission accomplished”.
